NDDS-1000

The NDDS-1000 Ship Information Distribution System (SIDS) receives navigation data, manages the data and distributes it in the formats and frequencies required by the receiving devices. The NDDS-1000 uses a precision time server to time-stamp the data.

In addition to collecting data from the sources connected to it, the NDDS-1000 GBDS performs a number of additional functions. These include

Automatic or manual selection of data based on priority,
The processing of some data within the framework of certain algorithms and sending it to the necessary places,
Converting some data into the formats required by the units to be sent and transmitting them at the desired speed, frequency and format,
and other functions. For time-sensitive receivers, the data is also time-stamped from the Atomic Time Server within the system.

The NDDS-1000 operates on a paired gigabit network line (copper cable or fiber) to which all sensors and receivers are connected. This provides high-speed data transfer, is easily configurable, eliminates the need to run a new cable to the ship when a new device is added, reduces the installation of cables by 90% and reduces the weight of the ship.
